God acts on behalf of those who wait on Him.
1. God uses times of waiting to work in the hearts of those opposing His work.

2. God uses times of waiting to prepare us for moments of great faith.
Example: Abraham (Genesis 15:1-7, 21:1-7, 22:1-19)
3. God uses times of waiting to establish His purposes in the world.
Example: Joseph (Genesis 40)
